I loved it, saw it first day at Thornton. I adore seeing the young girls

Crush look in wife-of-40-year’s eyes when she spends time w Jimmy Page. white summer was truly a delight. Wish they had played more of it. I absolutely amazing that they all found each other and how much they had to believe in themselves to make it work.

Great review, I agree with all. But the "semi-synched" parts really bugged me. And it bugged me even more that my wife didn't even notice it! :) But yeah, we can't be picky about what they give us, no matter what others say. Hope they do more. As a side note, there is a guy on Youtube that makes videos in a similar vein, he goes by "JCM - Led Zeppelin Stories"

A buddy and I went to the Friday 1 PM show in Northgate IMAX and I was totally surprised. There were only 10 people there. I really enjoyed it. The music and screen were quite bombastic and that’s a good thing. I especially enjoyed seeing the reactions of all three remaining members when they listen to Bonham’s interview throughout.. an afternoon well spent.

I was touched by a number of things in the film. Deep musicianship and clear vision are just two. I wasn’t thinking that in 1977 when I saw them. I wasn’t even thinking then, so it makes sense that the visuals are flickery in spots like my memory of that high school night. 🎸 Dreamy.

Just curious. Any mention of Terry Reid in the film? Reid, legend has it, declined Page's offer to tour as the singer for the New Yardbirds. Terry apparently told Page, "I know a guy", who turned out to be Plant.

Yes, Terry Reid gets mentioned and there's even some brief film footage of him in the studio with Mickie Most which is, like, incredibly cool! The early footage & photos they've dug up of the recording studios & people involved were a great part of the film. Glyn John's appearance pre-dates his star turn in "Get Back," but the wardrobe is already in play.
